We’ve created a warm, nurturing pediatric practice where your family can ask questions, feel heard, and thrive from day one. Choosing the right pediatrician for your baby is one of the most important decisions you’ll make — and we are grateful for the chance to walk alongside you every step of the way.

Let's Meet Before Baby Arrives!
We know expectant parents in Suwanee, Duluth, Johns Creek, Buford, and surrounding areas have a lot on their minds. That’s why we offer a FREE prenatal Meet-and-Greet appointment with Dr. Akbar before your baby is born. This is your chance to tour our office, meet our friendly team, ask all your newborn care questions, and feel confident in your choice of pediatrician.
Common topics we cover during prenatal visits include breastfeeding support, newborn sleep, circumcision care, postpartum resources, vaccine schedules, and what to expect in your baby’s first weeks of life.
To schedule your free prenatal consultation, simply give us a call — we’d love to meet you!

Your Baby's First Pediatric Visit
At birth, the hospital’s pediatrician will care for your newborn during your hospital stay. However, it is important that your baby is seen in our Suwanee pediatric office within 1–2 days after hospital discharge to monitor weight, jaundice, feeding, and overall newborn health.
Before leaving the hospital, please call YouBelong Pediatrics to schedule your baby’s first appointment. Early newborn visits are a critical part of keeping your baby healthy and giving you the confidence and support you need as a new parent.
We can’t wait to meet your little one — you both belong here.
