Antibiotics

At YouBelong Pediatrics, we’re careful with antibiotics because your child’s long-term health matters. We follow trusted guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and only prescribe antibiotics when truly necessary — never over the phone, because quality pediatric care starts with seeing your child in person. Not every ear infection or runny nose requires medication, and we’ll always take the time to explain why.

Vaccines

We understand that some parents have concerns about childhood vaccines, and we are always willing to respectfully discuss this with you. We strongly recommend following the immunization schedule outlined by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). At each well visit, we counsel parents on vaccine efficacy and safety based on the latest scientific evidence, helping protect children in Suwanee, Gwinnett County, and Forsyth County communities.

Medical Home

YouBelong Pediatrics works hard to serve as your child’s medical home in Suwanee, GA, providing comprehensive pediatric care from infancy through adolescence. We request that you contact our office first before seeking specialty care or heading to urgent care. We want to be involved — whether that means treating your child in-office or referring you to the most appropriate pediatric specialist and helping coordinate your care.

If your child does see a specialist, we kindly ask that their notes be sent directly to our office so we can stay informed and continue providing the best care possible.

  • We encourage you to consult our website, use automated reminders for upcoming appointments and routine immunizations.
